Tabitha Acret

Professor Ali Dandelier

Tabitha Acret is a qualified dental hygienist
and has been part of the dental industry for 20
years. She worked initially as a dental nurse,
dental receptionist and practice manager
before completing her BOH from Newcastle
University. Tabitha is a registered Dental
Hygienist with APHRA, is the current Chair for
the Dental Hygienist Association of Australia NSW. She is committed to frequently extending
her continuing education and is integral in
delivering quality CE to NSW and the National Dental Hygienist
community research.

Professor Ali Darendeliler is Professor and the
Chair of Orthodontics at the Uni of Sydney &
Head of Ortho at Sydney Dental Hospital &
Sydney South West Area Health Service. He
graduated from Dentistry at the University of
Istanbul, completed his PhD at the University
of Gazi-Turkey and completed 2 specialist
Orthodontic degrees from the University of
Geneva Switzerland and the High Education
Council in Turkey.

Deb Brown
Deb is a Dental Hygienist with a Post Grad
Diploma in Restorative Dental Hygiene
(Canada). She has worked within a variety
of settings and specialties providing care
in Orthodontics, TMJ/Facial Pain, Special
Needs/Medically Compromised, Geriatrics and
General Dentistry. Deb currently practices part
time in General dentistry as well as maintaining
a role as a Clinical Demonstrator/Lecturer
in Melbourne.

Dr Bobby Chhoker BSc (Lond), BDS (Lond), MSc (Implant
Dentistry), IADFE
Dr Bobby Chhoker graduated from United
Medical and Dental Schools of Guys and St
Thomas' Hospitals (UMDS) in 1997. He then
went on to complete a Masters Degree in
Implant Dentistry at university level and was
invited to become a member of the International
Academy of Dental and Facial Aesthetics in
New York. Dr Chhoker was principal of his
own business Harley Street Dental Care in
Harley Street London where there was an emphasis on implant
treatment and TMJ Disorders. He has provided dental educational
training programs for postgraduate dentists and members of the
dental team possessing a variety of experience, from newly qualified
through to experienced dental practitioners.
Dr Bobby Chhoker has worked alongside Sydney's leading clinicians
and practices in full mouth rehabilitation and has lectured for several
established implant companies. His roles have included all surgical
and prosthetic aspects of implant dentistry as well as management
of complications and mentoring.

Professor Darendeliler is a recipient of the Australian Society of
Orthodontists' Distinguished Service Award & P. Raymond Begg
Award for significant contribution to Research. He is the first
Australian to receive the Sheldon Friel Memorial Lecture Award,
the highest honour of the European Orthodontic Society, for his
significant scientific contribution to orthodontics. Professor Ali
Darendeliler has worked in Switzerland at the University of Geneva.
He held previous positions as A/Professor at the University of
North Carolina and Research Professor at the University of South
California. Professor Ali Darendeliler's research interests include
aligners, self-ligating brackets, orthopaedic treatment modalitites,
obstructive sleep apnoea, accelerated tooth movement, magnetic
fields and forces & dentalfacial orthopaedics. He is an internationally
recognised research leader in root resorption in orthodontics &
in obstructive sleep apnoea. He has helped develop guidelines
for the use of oral appliance therapy in sleep apnoea. In addition
to teaching and research Professor Ali sees patients in a private
specialist orthodontic practice in Edgecliff Sydney.

Carolyn S Dean
Carolyn S Dean is the author of "Fully
Booked - Dental Marketing Secrets for a
full appointment book" and is the Managing
Director at 'My Dental Marketing'. Carolyn is
a widely known seminar speaker and dental
marketing consultant working extensively
with dental professionals. Carolyn has over
21 years' experience in sales and marketing,
working with some of the largest global
IT organisations in the UK, USA, Europe,
South Africa, Asia and Australia. Over the last 10 years she has
specialised in the area of the dental, medical and health care
profession. Carolyn is Managing Director at My Dental Marketing
award winning specialist in marketing services and website design
for dental, professionals. They currently manage a portfolio of over
300 practices. They provide marketing solutions solely in the dental
space. As a consequence Carolyn has gained a deep understanding
of profession's problems and pain points.
