PORTABLE STEREO MIXING SYSTEM
Based on an 8 input mainframe and expandable at
any time without recalibration, this Richmond Sound
Design mixer's performance is professional in every
respect. A portable version of their studio consoles, it
features fold back and echo send channels; echo
return; illuminated VU meters; and a separate
monitoring system with CUE buttons, capable of
driving headphones or stereo power amplifier. Each
input channel includes XLR type input; 5 position
input attenuator; pre-EO foldback level; 3 frequency
EO; echo send level; pan pot; sealed straight line
fader; and monitor CUE button.

An internal regulated power supply allows operation directly from the power line. The chassis is
constructed of 14 gauge steel for absolute rigid ity,
with all labelling permanently etched on an attractive
anodized aluminum skin; end pieces are of oilfinished hardwood. Active circuitry employs high
grade components and plug-in type integrated circuits exclusively for all amplification functions.
The 8 input Master Chassis is 24" wide, 13"

Theatre Magic will manufacture steel templates to
fit any model ellipsoidal spotlights. These templates
are photographically exact reproductions of your
designs. Users furnish a graphic design in black ink
on a white board. Theatre Magic will provide a
finished pattern which will be a clean, exact

THE PLA-MATIC RECORDER
LaBelle Industries of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin,
announces the introduction of the PLA-MATIC@
Recorder. Now it is easy to prod uce your own
audio/visual programs using existing remote controlled slide or filmstrip projectors. The compact
recording/playback unit records the audio message
and also the silent signal to activate the remote
controlled slide or filmstrip projector. After the audio
script and the control signals are recorded the
PLA-MATIC Recorder can be used as a synchronizer
during playback. It commands the projector to
advance the visuals in complete synchronization with
the audio. The same controls can synchronize the
audio with other switch operated devices, such as
animated displays or programmed lighting effects. A
remote speaker jack is provided to permit speaker
placement as desired. A socket is also provided for
remote stop / start.
The PLA-MATIC Recorder can also automatically
turn off the houselights at program start and switch
them back on again when the program is completed.
The PLA-MATIC Recorder is available in two
models. The Recorder A uses the Cousino 1410 or
1430 continuous loop cartridge. The Recorder B
