Two TD& T articles have recently been reprinted in fellow OISTI
journals. Glenn Loney's "The Collapse of a Movable Ceiling" (Spring,
1978) was reprinted in the June, 1978 ABTI News. E. T. Kirby's
"Technology as Art" (Summer 1978) appeared in the March 1979 issue of Hungary's Szinhaztechnikai F6rum. Also, the Spring 1979 issue of Sightline contains an expanded version of Tom Watson's Wilmington Opera House article from the Spring 1977 issue of TD& T.
Two new OISTI journals have debuted this year. From Sweden
comes Medlemsblad. The editor is Bernt Thorell and their address is
Svensk Teaterteknisk Forening; Box 45003; 104 30 Stockholm 45,
Sweden. Among the articles in the first issue (March 1979) is one entitled "Utbildning i Utland" by Hans-Ake Sjoquist about the theatre at
the University of Virginia including a section on their newly purchased
Strand Century "Light Palette." Podium & Techniek, a new journal
from the Netherlands appeared in January 1979. The editor is C. W.

ABTT News
The April 1979 issue is largely devoted to the stagehands' strike at
the National Theatre.
