Terminate in Multirack

New 2.4 Mark V Scrimmerette

Wireworks Corporation has introduced the Multirack, a microphone
multicable termination designed to accept individual cables from microphones and other equipment. The Multirack is a modular component used to terminate a Wireworks multipair microphone cable. It
conveniently mounts in all standard 19" equipment racks. Multiracks
are available in multicable sizes of 3,6,9, 11, 15, 19, 27, 36, and 50
pairs. The totally enclosed unit is multi pin compatible with other components of the same pair size.
Multirack front panels are black anodized aluminum with engraved
numerals and feature Switchcraft OG Series and AMP multipin connectors. They are available with dual outputs, XLR or quarter inch returns, and ground lift switches.

Electronics Diversified's new 2.4 KW Mark V Scrimmeretle is a
compact, moderately priced lighting control system with the controllers and dimmers in one package. The Mark V is a six-channel
controller rated 20 amps per channel, capable of full loading to 120
amps. Two-phase capability allows utilization of any power source.
A provision exists for external remote control. An optional external
grand master, consisting of a single channel slide control, permits a
performer to control lighting effects while performing. This same remote control jack can also be used to interface the Mark V Scrimmeretle with other E.D.1. control consoles.
If more than six channels are required, any number of Scrim meretles can be linked together and "master slaved." Magnetic circuit
breakers (one for each channel) are standard, as are SCRs for improved reliability. Chokes are especially designed for filtering, reducing the possibility of noise being introduced into quality sound, TV and
radio systems. A patented input power error light in the Mark V alerts
the operator to miswired feeders.

New Features for Hardwired Microphone Multicables
Wireworks Corporation announces additional features available for
their line of Hardwired Microphone Multicables. Hardwired Multicables, single-unit systems which accept individual cables from microphones and provide direct plugging into consoles, mixers and
other equipment, are now offered with XLR and quarter-inch phone
connector return lines. HMX Series Multicables feature return lines
with Switchcraft OG Series audio connectors and the HMO Series
Multicables incorporate quarter-inch phone connectors of the ring, tip
and sleeve type. Ideal for small P.A. applications, HMX and HMO
Hardwired Multicables provide an easy method for sending line level
returns back to the stage location.
Hardwired Microphone Multicables are available in sizes ranging
from 3 to 50 pairs and are stocked in 50', 100', 200' and 250'
lengths. All feature a deluxe Kellems grip at the box/cable junction
and two bar-type handles to provide connector protection, additional
tie-off points and ease of handling.

Male Flush Mounting from Union Connector
Union Connector has added a male flush mounting to its 20 amp.
Spring line. As with the female receptacle (2P & GF-FL), the male (2P
& GM-FL) eliminates the use of screws to attach it to a metal plate,
making possible easy installation and assembly. The cutout hole is the
same as for the female receptacle. The product is UL listed---0SHA
acceptable.
