MEGAN WILKERSON SCE IC designer Nantasket by David Cohen University of Texas at Austin Scenic Design: Megan Wilkerson DESIGN CONCEPT: iVal/laskel is a recent script written by the late David Cohen. The primary action occurs on Nantasket beach over the July Fourth holiday in 1955. The action also includes a number of memory scenes. The story is centered around two couples and how they deal \vith the threat of polio to their children. The action takes place primarily within the confines of the kitchen, porch and yard of a small beach rental.
