She received her BFA in costume design and technology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and her MFA in costume design from Illinois State University. Production Statement In this modern approach to a classic tale, Dorothy goes on a metaphorical journey from the simple, timeless, media-free life in Kansas to the technology-saturated high-fashion land of Oz.
