Message from the CEO
I find a New Year very refreshing. A blank canvas full of promise.
Over the course of the year, the IBAO team has implemented a solid foundation to
carry the association through 2024 and beyond. It's a great backdrop to an exciting
year ahead. One where we focus on broker education, regulatory change and
market data.
We'll invest in professional development and evolve broker education to support
the changing business environment. In step with RIBO enhancing the foundation of
professionalism and Ontario's licensing exam, we've taken ownership of resolving
licensing challenges and developed solutions for Ontario's licensing portfolio.
We'll lead critical regulatory initiatives across the industry. We've spent years
building key long-term relationships and continued throughout 2023 to expand our
reach in the political arena. In step with the industry's list of upcoming regulatory
changes, we're now entrusted to lead key national initiatives and will play a vital role
in implementing the many guidelines and much needed awareness coming next year.
We'll deliver new data products. We know the value key insights bring to your
businesses and introduced benchmarking tools and community data this year to
help you grow them. This is just the beginning of our ideas and deliverables in
this area.
All of this couldn't be accomplished without a highly engaged team of volunteers
and highly committed operational team who continue to raise expectations of what
can be achieved. As the quality and relevance of our execution continues to grow,
the entire team should be proud of the corresponding growth of our membership.
As we look ahead and embrace new challenges with open arms, we thank you for
your continued faith in our abilities and look forward to watching individual and
collective successes grow in 2024.
