More than meets the eyes:
Flexible furniture and moveable,
robotic space solutions
In late summer 2020, the team at Resource Furniture surveyed
191 architects and interior designers about what their clients were
requesting and how their needs had changed since the onset of COVID-19.
The results didn't come as much of a surprise. Almost unanimously,
91 percent of the design professionals approached said their clients wanted
one thing: flexible spaces that could be used for multiple purposes. Ori felt
the trend as well, and more than quadrupled its volume over the past year.
What do the two brands have in common? They both produce furniture

" The idea that a room or a piece of furniture should have one intended
purpose has practically become passé, " says Challie Stillman, vice president
of sales and design for Resource Furniture. " Having spent so much of our
time indoors this year, it's become clear to many that using a room for only
eight hours each day is actually quite wasteful. "

intermediate, and queen-size beds, which integrate seamlessly
with any of our Clei modular storage systems, " Stillman says,
noting one can mix and match shelves, closets, and cabinets
to create unique storage configurations. The wall beds
operate using one of two patented mechanisms made either
of five-way folded steel or extruded aluminum, along with
a patented locking feature that keeps it upright when closed
or down when opened. (These mechanisms are completely
hidden and effortlessly work by pulling a handle or hidden
leg.) " Our fully customizable cabinetry, shelving, and media
systems by Turati T4 also integrate seamlessly with any of

and feature a wide array of optional tech features, including
USB ports, outlets, LED lighting, and more. " And for those
