constraints need to also be studied and
taken into account during the optimization process.
Incorporation of further sensors, such as electrooptical/infrared,
toward holistic multiplatform multisensor
management.
Calculation of flight paths such that suggestion can
be provided to a pilot in order to further enhance the
performance of sensors.
The optimization problem is currently solved iteratively
without looking into future steps. A further
improvement would be to convert it to a receding
horizon optimization problem, where a solution is
calculated for some steps in the future but only
applied for a smaller subset of future steps, e.g., calculate
a solution for five steps into the future but only
apply the first one and subsequently reoptimize.
