more away the target is. This estimate was used to maintain
the rocket's original launch angle.
IMPLEMENTATION
A suggestion for the implementation ofthese proposed algorithms
based on NNs is to use the MATLAB-Simulink
coder itself, which provides the advantage of having versatility
and flexibility in the prototyping stage. The time step
has been set to 1 ms, which is significantly longer than the
characteristic time of a conventional on-board processor.
This fact could ensure the viability for real-time operation.

NUMERICAL RESULTS
The numerical results for the training process are shown
first. The MSE and the regression parameter are summarized
in Table 4. The " set " of data is defined in the first
column, i.e., train (70%), validation (15% ), or test (15% )
data. The applied training algorithm is displayed in the

However, this topic is outside the scope proposed for this
article and, ofcourse, for implementation in a serial production
environment, a much more detailed study of the implementation
method would have to be carried out.
