reductions on the CEP of two orders of magnitude are
obtained. Note also that, lateral dispersion is almost eliminated,
which makes this type ofcontroller very suitable to be
used by short-range rocket applications since the target usually
has a certain height (usually a tank or a land vehicle),
whichmakes the probability ofimpact much higher (the point
of impact in these tests has been located on the ground, and
the height of the target has not been considered, which in a
real shot may not be entirely true).
Figures 11 and 12, each of them contains three
subfigures, representing trajectories, for 750 (top-left),
850 (top-right), and 950 (bottom-left) meters, respectively;
for the best NN controller (BR Strategy 1) and

the conventional controller. Controlled flights are only
usinganIMU.
The suggested method's primary advantage is that it
can attain high levels ofprecision in the presence ofuncertainty
and disruptions without requiring the usage of
costly components. The second is that even testing this
controller outside of the impact point range for which it
was trained, excellent results are achieved. Figure 13
shows the performance of the BR Strategy 1-based controller
for a nominal impact point outside training conditions
of 650 m, and for another of 1050 m. In both cases,
the CEP remains within the expected values as it is 0.11
for the 650 m shot and 0.12 for the 1050 m shot.
