Giacomo Sorelli received
the master's degree from
the University of Florence,
Florence, Italy, in 2015, and
the Ph.D. degree from the
University ofFreiburg, Germany,
in 2019, where he
specialized in the propagation
ofmultimode quantum
light through atmospheric
turbulence. He is currently
a Postdoctoral Researcher
with the Laboratoire Kastler
Brossel, Paris, France, working on theoretical research in the
fields of quantum metrology and superresolution imaging.
Since his Ph.D. work, he has always worked toward pushing
quantum technology into the real world, collaborating with
engineers from the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics
and Precision Engineering and the ONERA, the French Aerospace
Lab.
