tracking display and were not distracted by other
eyes-out visual cues available on the HMD system.
It is likely that the symbology of the HMD may also
have contributed to poorer tracking performance.
3) All pilots were able to reach a close vicinity of the
final waypoint indicating that the guidance law and
human performance were sufficiently robust to
input disturbance signals.
Further research is necessary to develop and optimize an
eyes-out display concept so as to simplify piloting tasks for
both normal and emergency procedures in UAMoperations.
