A Ground-Based Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar Design

A series of outdoor filed measurements has been conducted
to verify the performance of the developed
GBSAR. This section discusses five major outdoor tests
that have been conducted.

the developed ground-based radar. This section will discuss
the detail of the experiments conducted and the
results obtained.
INDOOR EXPERIMENT-PHASE STABILITY AND
MODELING
An indoor experiment has been conducted in a microwave
anechoic chamber for continuous scanning of a single
point target to perform the phase stability test and modeling
of the developed GBSAR system. The detail of this
experiment can be found in the published article [8]. The
outcome of this work is the phase response of this GBSAR
for isolated point scene can be modeled via a probability
density function (PDF). Besides, the mechanical biasing
errors have been identified and remove via postprocessing.
