Hao Xu (M'12) was born in Nanjing,
China. He received the master's degree
in electrical engineering from Southeast
University, Nanjing, in 2009, and
the Ph.D. degree from the Missouri
University of Science and Technology,
Rolla, MO, USA, in 2012. He is currently
with University of Nevada, Reno, where
he is an Assistant Professor with the Department of
Electrical & Biomedical Engineering. His current research
interests include intelligent control design for advanced
power systems, smart grid, autonomous unmanned
aircraft systems, and wireless passive sensor network.
Wenxin Liu (S'01-M'05-SM'14)
received the B.S. degree in industrial
automation, and the M.S. degree in
control theory and applications from
Northeastern University, Shenyang,
China, in 1996 and 2000, respectively,
and the Ph.D. degree in electrical
engineering from the Missouri University of Science
and Technology (formerly University of Missouri-Rolla),
Rolla, MO, USA, in 2005. Currently, he is an Assistant
Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering, Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, USA.
His research interests include power systems, power
electronics, and controls.
