intelligence from air, space and cyber sources to meet
Air Force needs; and to lead and enable rapid development,
demonstration and transition of new processing
and exploitation capabilities to the Air Force. Dr. Wu
has been conducting scientific research and technology
development in advanced computing architectures
and very large-scale integrated circuits for more than
20 years. He is known for his research in energy
efficient integrated circuits, statistical modeling and
estimation of power consumption, dynamic power
management, parallelized data analytics utilizing high
performance computing, neuromorphic computing architectures,
models and algorithms, and memristor
based analog computing for artificial intelligence. Dr.
Wu is author and co-author of more than 120 publications
in international journals and conferences as well
as six published patents.
Qinru Qiu received her PhD in Electrical
Engineering from University of
Southern California in 2001. She is currently
a professor and the director of
the graduate program in the Department
of Electrical Engineering and
Computer Science at Syracuse University. Dr. Qiu has
more than 20 years of research experience in high performance
and energy efficient computing. Her research
group has received the " Best Student Paper "
award in FICC 2020, " Most Innovative Student Paper
Award " in IEEE HPEC 2016, and was the Second Prize
Winning team in the 2nd International Neuromorphic
Computing Competition in 2018. She was a recipient of
NSF CAREER award in 2009, and IEEE Region 1 Technological
Innovation award in 2020. She serves as an associate
editor for IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks,
Learning Systems (TNNLS) and IEEE Circuit
and Systems Magazine, and IEEE Transactions on Cognitive
and Developmental Systems (TCDS). She serves
as a technical program committee member of many
conferences including DAC, ICCAD, ISLPED, DATE, etc.
She is the director of the NSF I/UCRC (Industry University
Collaborative Research Center) ASIC (Alternative
Sustainable and Intelligent Computing) Center
Syracuse Site.
