opportunities was in November 18. Both talks were
plenary sessions, with 1 hour length each.

to meet IEEE and CASS members from several
countries from the Andean Region. ANDESCON
2024 will be organized in Lima, Peru. The IEEE Colombia
Caribbean Section is a new IEEE Section without a
CASS Chapter yet, but with a great potential to launch
a CASS Chapter in a near future. Cartagena de Indias,
has a large convention center that can host large CASS
conferences as ISCAS.
Other CASS Tours in Latin American countries were
organized in 2022 and 2023, and it is possible find some
reports about them in the IEEE CASS Magazine [2], [3],
[4]. Other CASS Tours are being planned as, for instance,
an IEEE CASS Tour in Peru and another one in Chile.

It was a nice experience to organize the IEEE CASS Tour
Colombia 2022, going to three locations in two cities
in one week. The participation of professionals and
students was great, and the embedded CASS talks at
ANDESCON helped to increase CASS visibility to IEEE
members that are not yet CASS members. We expect an
increase in CASS membership in all visited locations.
