algorithm, a niche sharing method is also
used to estimate a peptide'sdensity and a
local search strategy is applied to enhance
the quality of the identified AMPs. The
experimental results show that the proposed
approach outperforms the state-ofart
methods in searching for various AMPs
in terms ofboth the antimicrobial activities
and the distinctness with the known
AMPs in the datasets.
The third paper, titled " Multilayer
Network Community Detection: A
Novel Multi-objective Evolutionary
Algorithm Based on Consensus Prior
Information " by C. Gaoetal.,proposesan
EMO algorithm for solving the community
detection problem in multilayer networks.
Different from the existing
methods, the proposed algorithm can take
full advantage of two kinds ofprior information
in multilayer networks, graphlevel
and node-level information, to guide
the population initialization and genetic
operator. The graph-level information is
used to generate a high-quality initial population
and the node-level information
integrating the weight strategy is adopted
to generate promising individuals by distributing
similar nodes into the same community.
To effectively extract the prior
information from the multilayer networks,
a popular method Node2vec in graph
neural networks is introduced in the proposed
algorithm. Experiments on both
synthetic and real-world datasets indicate
that the proposed algorithm not only performs
better than optimization based
methods, but also outperforms other types
ofalgorithms for community detection in
multilayer networks, including nonnegative
matrix factorization, spectral clustering,
andmultiview clustering methods.
