R. Jegadeeshwaran is currently an associate professor
at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai,
India. His research interests include condition monitoring
and brake fault diagnosis. Jegadeeshwaran
received the post graduate degree in mechatronics
engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India in
2009. He has also completed his Doctoral Research
on brake fault diagnosis at the Vellore Institute of

G. Sakthivel is currently a professor and deputy
director at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai,
India, with the Centre for Automation. His area of
interest includes intelligent systems for automobiles.
Sakthivel received the master's degree in mechatronics
engineering from VIT University, Vellore, India
in 2003 and the Ph. D Degree on Intelligent decision
making in IC engines from Anna University, Chennai,

D. Saravanakumar is currently an assistant professor
with the Centre for Automation, Vellore Institute
of Technology, Chennai, India. His research
focuses on design and control of mechatronic and
robotic systems. Saravanakumar received the M.E.
degree in mechatronics engineering from Anna university,
Chennai, India in 2011 and the Ph.D. degree
in servo pneumatics from Anna University, Chennai,

R. Sivakumar is currently a professor and dean of
the School of Mechanical Engineering, Vellore Institute
of Technology. He is also having a seven years industrial
experience. His research Interest includes heat
and mass transfer, and CFD analysis. Sivakumar
received the postgraduate degree in combustion from
Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India,
in 2004 and the Ph.D. degree in combustion instability
from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai,
