The mission statement of IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine is to educate,
inform, and entertain our members on
technology, events, industry news, and
general topics relating to CE. We also
strive to further serve and support our
members in professional career development through tutorials and by raising
awareness of engineering tools and technologies. However, if you are reading
this, you already know more about IEEE
Consumer Electronics Magazine than I
can put down in this short article.
A hard copy of the publication is also
mailed quarterly to all members. Past
issues of the magazine are also available
on the IEEE Xplore digital library.

IEEE RFID VIRTUAL JOURNAL
IEEE virtual journals (VJs) are a new
addition to the IEEE Xplore digital
library. Each VJ contains a collection of
previously published IEEE papers in
specific scientific and technical disciplines, paired with value-added commentary from technology experts. These
papers are selected based on their relevance to the topic by an editorial team
knowledgable in their respective fields.
IEEE VJ subscribers can seamlessly
access full-text articles from the source
journals without having to subscribe to
each individual journal.

journal, has made excellent progress
and established itself as one of the best

in cloud computing. The scope of the
publication covers cloud security, cloud

cloud data analytics, cloud communications protocols, and mobile cloud applications. These applications are becoming
