authored and coauthored more than
100 technical papers in international
journals, books, and conferences,
mainly in the areas of computer
graphics, human-machine interaction, and intelligent
computing. He is an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on
Emerging Topics in Computing. He is a member of the
editorial advisory board of several international journals and
of Taylor and Francis's Encyclopedia of Computer Science
and Technology. Fabrizio has served as coguest editor for
the special issue on "Remote Visualization" published in
Computing and Visualization in Science, of the special issue
on "Virtual Puppetry: New Frontiers of Digital Character
Animation," which appeared in Entertainment Computing,
and of the special issue on "Detection and Tracking of Targets
in Forward-Looking InfraRed Imagery" published in Sensors.
He is currently serving as coguest editor for the special issue
on "Emerging Trends in Education" of IEEE Transactions on
Emerging Topics in Computing. He has recently served as
general cochair and technical program committee chair of the
Seventh International Conference on Intelligent Technologies
for Interactive Entertainment and has been involved in
the organizing committees and TPCs of other national and
international conferences. He is a Member of the IEEE CS. He is
a Senior Member of the IEEE.
Hyoungshick Kim

Hyoungshick Kim (hyoung@skku.
edu) is an assistant professor with the
Department of Computer Science and
Engineering, College of Information
and Communication Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University,
South Korea. He earned his B.S. degree from the Department
of Information Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University, his
M.S. degree from the Department of Computer Science at
KAIST, and his Ph.D. degree from the Computer Laboratory
at University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, in 1999, 2001,
and 2012, respectively. After completing his Ph.D. degree,
he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of
British Columbia, Canada. Hyoungshick previously worked for
Samsung Electronics as a senior engineer from 2004 to 2008. He
also served as a member of DLNA and Coral standardization for
DRM interoperability in home networks. His current research
interests are focused on social computing and usable security.

Bernard Fong (bfong@ieee.org)
earned his B.S. degree in electronics
from the University of Manchester
Institute of Science and Technology,
United Kingdom, and his Ph.D. degree
in medical technology from the University of New South
Wales, Australia. He is currently a senior manager with
the Automotive Parts and Accessory Systems R&D Centre.
Bernard was previously a senior lecturer with Auckland
University of Technology, New Zealand, and an associate
professor with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where
his main research interests were in smart mobility, vehicle
infotainment, consumer health care, and smart and assistive
technology. He serves on the editorial review committee of
IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics and the TPC of
the ICCE.
Robin Bradbeer

Robin Bradbeer (rsbradbeer@
gmail.com) earned her B.S. degree
in electrical engineering and her M.S.
degree in electronic engineering from
the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. She completed her
doctorate degree at Durham University, United Kingdom. She
is a chartered engineer, chartered physicist, and a chartered
information technology professional. She started teaching at
North London Polytechnic in 1971 and became closely involved
with consultancy work for many CE companies-from audio
and hi-fi in the early 1970s to electronic calculators and early
home computers in the late 1970s to early 1980s. Robin has
written more than 20 books and worked closely with the British
Broadcasting Corporation on The Computer Programme, where
she coauthored the book for the series that sold more than
400,000 copies in 18 languages, and more than 5 million copies
of user manuals for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. She moved to
Hong Kong in the mid-1980s to run her own CE consultancy,
where she advised a number of new start-up companies in
southeast Asia and China. Robin joined City University of Hong
Kong (CityU) in 1990 and taught consumer mechatronic design
and electronic product design. Her research interests at CityU
included applying CE technology to robotics and engineering
education methodologies. She retired from City University as
an associate professor in 2010 and has spent the time since
then doing volunteer work. She has just finished a six-year stint
as a deputy chair of the board of directors of the Hong Kong
Internet Registration Corporation/Hong Kong Domain Name
Registration Corporation. Robin is an active conference organizer
and has been an organizing chair of nearly 40 conferences for
various IEEE Societies over the past 30 years. She has organized
conferences in Hong Kong, China, the United Kingdom, Macau,
Thailand, and the Philippines. She has also been an active
member of more than 100 TPCs as well as a member of local
organizing committees for 50 conferences. She was the founding
chair of the IEEE CE Society Chapter in Hong Kong in 1993 and
