4) A s a mathematical problem of SARIF, we can set
it up as two unknown variables, Tl < and Tl =, with
two equations.
Finally, we acknowledge
that the plot of Tl = is still
noisy. We therefore need further improvement of our calculation by reconsidering the
coregistration calculation.

AUTHOR INFORMATION
Tasuku Tanaka (tttanaka@yamaguchi-u.ac.jp) received his

B.E. and M.E. degrees in precise mechanical engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, Japan, in 1971 and his Ph.D. degree from the
Graduate School of Science, University of Tokyo, in 2003.
Since January 2006, he has been a professor at Yamaguchi
University, Japan. He has worked at the National Space
Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) (currently the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). During his career at
-NASDA, he was assigned to several strategic positions, such
as NASDA representative for the International Space Station
in 1990, deputy director of the Earth Observation Center
in 1993, and director of the Earth Observation Research
Center in 1995. In 1998, he was a NASDA research fellow,
working at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt,
Maryland. He received the NASA Special Award for International Cooperation in 1992; NASDA Special Award for 30
years contribution to the Japanese space program in 2001;
Yamaguchi University Award for contributions to the joint
graduate school, in cooperation with Udayana University,
Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, in 2016; and a special award
from Udayana University in 2017.
I Nyoman Sudi Parwata (sudi_jbc@yahoo.com) received
his bachelor's degree in physics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Udayana University, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, in 2012. From 2012 to 2014, he was
enrolled in the postgraduate double degree program joint--ly

with Udayana University and Yamaguchi University, Japan, during which time he received his M.Eng. degree
from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Yamaguchi University, and his M.Sc. degree in environmental
science from Udayana University in 2014. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree with the Graduate School
of Science and Engineering at Yamaguchi University.
He is a research assistant with the Center for Research
and Application of Satellite Remote Sensing, Yamaguchi
University. His research interests include interferometric
SAR -(InSAR) for digital elevation model generation, differential InSAR (DInSAR) for surface deformation, and
DInSAR time-series analysis (small baseline subset and
persistent scatterer-InSAR).
Putu Edi Yastika (eyastika@yamaguchi-u.ac.jp) received
his bachelor's degree in physics from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Udayana University, Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he was
enrolled in the postgraduate double degree program jointly
with Udayana University and Yamaguchi University, Japan, during which time he received his M.Sc. and M.Eng.
degrees in environmental remote sensing in 2015. In 2019,
he received his doctorate from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Yamaguchi University, where he is
currently a postdoctoral fellow. In 2017, he was awarded the
Outstanding Oral Presentation Award at the Young Scholar's Symposium on Rock Mechanics for his paper on applications of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometry
(SARIF) in geotechnical engineering. His research interests
include satellite remote sensing, particularly SAR image
processing and its applications.
