RESULTS USING KALPANA-1 VHRR DATA In this section, we present the results of data registration for KALPANA-1 VHRR imagery. Figure 12 shows a synoptic view of a reference and a sensed image in the display panels. The sensed image [Figure 12(b)] is to Reference Point 1 Sensed Point 1 Reference Point 2 Sensed Point 2 Reference Point 3 Sensed Point 3 be registered with respect to the reference image [Figure 12(a)]. A distortion and corresponding registration in the sensed image are shown in Figure 13. Finally, the boundaries are overlaid on the registered image, as shown in Figure 14.
