Security Agency and later was with Korea's Defense Security
Command. He is currently a professor at Beijing Jiaotong
University, Beijing, 100044, China, and visiting scholar
with UTAS. He has written 17 books about software development,
operating systems such as Linux and Windows
2000, and computer hacking and security and published
about 200 papers. He is a Member of IEEE. His research interests
include statistical analysis, image processing, system
design, information security products and systems, process
improvement for security enhancement, and approaches
and methods for making IT systems more secure.
Pedram Ghamisi (p.ghamisi@gmail.com) received his
Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from
the University of Iceland, Reykjavík, in 2015. He is head
of the Machine Learning Group at Helmholtz-Zentrum
Dresden-Rossendorf, Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource
Technology, Dresden, 01328, Germany; chief technology
officer and cofounder of VasoGnosis Inc., San Jose,
California, USA; and a visiting professor at the Institute
of Advanced Research in Artificial Intelligence, Vienna,
Austria. He is also cochair of the IEEE Image Analysis and
Data Fusion (IADF) Committee. Dr. Ghamisi received the
IEEE Mikio Takagi Prize for the winning student paper at
the 2013 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing
Symposium, first prize in the Data Fusion Contest
organized by the IEEE IADF in 2017, the IEEE Geoscience
and Remote Sensing Letters 2017 Best Reviewer award, and
the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society 2020
Highest-Impact Paper award. His research interests include
interdisciplinary research on machine (deep) learning, image
and signal processing, and multisensor data fusion. For

Ruay-Shiung Chang (rschang@ntub.edu.tw) received
his B.S.E.E. degree from National Taiwan University in
1980 and his Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Decision
and Computer Science, National Tsing Hua University in
1988. Formerly with the Chung Shan Institute of Science
and Technology, National Taiwan University of Science and
Technology, National Dong Hwa University, and Taiwan
Hospitality and Tourism College, he is currently president
of the National Taipei University of Business, Taipei City,
100, Taiwan. His research interests include the Internet,
wireless networks, and cloud computing. Dr. Chang is president
of the Taiwan Intellectual Property Operation Association
and vice president of the Digital Taiwan Roundtable
association. He also publishes actively in many international
journals and conferences. For his contributions, Dr.
Chang received the Outstanding Information Technology
