restricted to, registration (image to image, video to image),
change detection, multitemporal analysis, object detection and tracking (buildings, cars, and vessels), and image
classification (multisensor or multiresolution). To register

Participants must read and accept the contest terms
and conditions. Each manuscript should be written in

specify the names, affiliations, and e-mail contacts of
the individual or team participants. The article should

AWARD COMMITTEE
Each manuscript submitted will be evaluated by the
Award Committee on the basis of its novelty, scientific
contribution, analysis and fusion methodology, experimental validation, and clarity of explanation. The Award

RESULTS, AWARDS, AND PRIZES
The winning teams will be awarded at IGARSS 2016 in
Beijing, China, in July 2016. The included awards are as
follows:
◗ The four top-ranking teams will have their articles included in an invited session of the IGARSS 2016 conference where the outcome of the contest will be presented.
These articles will be included in the technical program
as well as in the IGARSS 2016 proceedings.
◗ The same four teams will be presented during the Technical Committees and Chapter Chairs Dinner at IGARSS
2016. Each team will be awarded an IEEE certificate of
recognition.
◗ The first- and second-ranking teams will coauthor an
article summarizing the outcome of the competition to
be submitted to IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied
Earth Observations and Remote Sensing. A maximum of
three authors per team will be included. To maximize
impact and promote the potential of current multisource remote sensing technologies, the open-access
option will be used for this submission.
◗ The first-ranking team will be awarded an NVIDIA GPU
graphics card.
IEEE GRSS will cover the costs related to the openaccess fees and to the winning teams' participation at the
Technical Committees and Chapter Chairs Dinner at IGARSS 2016. The IGARSS 2016 team sponsors the prize for
the winning team.

Imaging and UrtheCast. The IADF TC wishes to express its
