The Third IEEE MTT-S 2017 International Conference on
Microwaves for Intelligent Mobility (ICMIM2017)

The third IEEE MTT-S 2017 International Conference on Microwaves for
Intelligent Mobility (ICMIM2017) will be held on 19-21 March, 2017 in
Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. This conference covers a broad range of topics
that enable intelligent mobile systems through RF/microwave/millimeterwave components, circuits and systems. Potential applications include
cognitive and autonomous automobiles and robots, wireless
communications between automobiles and industrial machines.
ICMIM2017 is sponsored by IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques
Society.

The conference will be comprised of oral and interactive/poster sessions,
and all papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore for publication. ICMIM
invites papers on all topics related to the topic of the conference,
including but not limited to:
* RF components, MMIC, and Packaging
* Frontends and Modules
* Active antennas and MIMO
* System design of radars/sensors and wireless communications
* Modulation and waveforms
* Wave propagation and RCS
* RF signal processing
* Digital signal processing
in these fields of applications:
* Automotive radar
* ITS systems including automobiles, railroad, roadside, airborne
* Passive and active imaging and sensing systems
* RF-based localization and monitoring of movable objects/vehicles
* Automotive to X communication (V2X)
* Mobile to mobile/stationary communication
* RF applications for any mobile devices/vehicles/machines

Paper Submission

Paper submission instructions will be found at icmim-ieee.org. All
submissions must be properly formatted in the two-column IEEE format and
be between three and four pages with the figures included. Only
electronic submissions in pdf format will be accepted for review. Authors
should indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation, but the
conference chairs may place the paper in the best place. All submissions
must be received by 4 November, 2016.
Submissions will be evaluated based on novelty, significance of the work,
technical content, interest to the audience, and presentation. Measured
data should be provided to verify component, circuit and system designs.
All accepted papers presented at the conference will be submitted for
publication in IEEE Xplore.
