ISSCC 2022 China Promotion Held in Hybrid Format

The International Solid-State Circuits
Conference (ISSCC) Far East Regional
Committee and China International
Technical Program Committee (ITPC)
held the ISSCC 2022 China Promotion
Workshop in a hybrid format on 9 July
2021. More than 50 participants attended
the workshop at the Zhejiang
University Hangzhou Global S&T Innovation
Center, while hundreds of
IC designers joined the event online.
The workshop was supported by the
School of Micro/Nano Electronics, Zhejiang
University, and the IEEE SolidState
Circuits Society Macau Chapter.
The program opened with welcoming
remarks by Prof. Hanming Wu
(Zhejiang University and the Chinese
Academy of Engineering). Prof. ManKay
Law (ISSCC Far East secretary)
introduced the history and organization
of the ISSCC. Next, several ISSCC
technical trends were presented by
Law (analog), Prof. Hongtao Xu (wireless
and radio frequency), Prof. Milin
Zhang (technology directions), Prof. Li
Geng (power management), and Prof.
Patrick Yue (wireline). Last but not
least, Prof. Yan Lu (ISSCC China representative)
presented a short tutorial,
" How to Write a Good ISSCC Paper. "
During a Q&A session and a tea
break, attendees had further technical
discussions with the ITPC members,
including Prof. Jiawei Xu (Fudan
University) and Prof. Xun Liu (Chinese
University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen),
