IEEE SSCS Hong Kong Student Chapter Activities
Over the first quarter of 2021, the
IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS)
Hong Kong Student Chapter has been
working tirelessly to educate and enrich
the life of student members. As
public services in Hong Kong are getting
back to normal, several outdoor
activities, such as hiking and football,
were organized. Chapter members
also got together to watch the
IEEE International Solid-State Circuits
Conference (ISSCC) tutorials, which
helped better equip junior student
members with the necessary knowledge
for future research. The Chapter
is also planning for SSCS Summer
Camp in 2021, which will serve as an
open platform for leading scholars,
engineers, and student members to
share their insights and experience.
A healthy, regular, and energetic
lifestyle is necessary for IC designers
to work and study efficiently.

The SSCS Hong Kong Student Chapter
organized several activities to help
student members stay
active and
healthy. On 14 February 2021, a fourhour
hike to Sai Kung, Hong Kong, was
organized. Students completed a picturesque
6.6 km with beautiful scenery.
Necessary preventive measures,
such as keeping social distance, were
taken to ensure participants' safety.
On 13 March 2021, a football game
was held at the artificial soccer field
of the Hong Kong University of Science
and Technology.
SSCS Hong Kong Student Chapter members participate in a hiking expedition in Sai Kung,
Hong Kong.
