as the applications do not require a
high data rate, we can enjoy the near
field's superior stable connection.
Electro-quasi-static HBC (EQ-HBC)
[22], [23] adopts a 1-20-MHz center
frequency. As the communication
distance has a similar order of magnitude
as the wavelength, this is neither
near field nor far field; rather,
we can consider this as an " electroquasi-static "
field. Compared to the
near field, EQ-HBC achieves a much
greater data rate, up to several megabits/second;
at the same time, its
channel variation is less than that
of the midfield or far field. Hence
much more stable communication
is possible. To suppress the narrowband
interferences and also achieve
energy efficiency, broadband (BB)
can be combined with time-domain
interference rejection (Figure 6) [22];
the integrator at the receiver adds up
the constant amplitude data, while
the periodic time-varying interference
will remain periodic sinusoidal.
By sampling the integrator output at
the zero crossing of the interference,
the EQ-HBC effectively suppresses
the interference while achieving good
energy efficiency. This band, compared
to other types, has a greater
