Distinguished Lecture: MinimumEnergy-Driven Embedded Memory Design for IoT Applications On 30 April 2022, the IEEE Malaysia EDS/MTT-S/SSCS Penang Joint Chapter organized a virtual Distinguished Lecture: " Minimum-EnergyDriven Embedded Memory Design for IoT Applications, " by Associate Professor Tony Tae-Hyoung Kim from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Kim is an IEEE SSCS Distinguished Lecturer. This Distinguished Lecture was The presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation to Distinguished Lecturer Dr. Kim. co-organized with the Technological Association Malaysia; Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Malaysia Network; Institution of Engineers, Malaysia; and Tech Dome Penang. More than 30 participants from industry and academia joined the event. Kim started the lecture by sharing the basics of ultralow power SRAMs, followed by state-of-the-art ultralow power SRAM design techniques. He then elaborated on several emerging applications of SRAM. Finally, Kim discussed future directions in ultralow power embedded memory for IoT applications. At the end of the event, moderator Yong presented a certificate of appreciation to Kim.
