A Year of Working Together

It is difficult to believe that a year has
gone by since I wrote my first column.
It was a year of facing unknowns,
experimenting, learning, and working together to reimagine and reinvent how the IEEE Solid-State Circuits
Society (SSCS) serves its members,
all while ensuring the excellence our
Society is known for and not compromising the health and safety of our
volunteers, members, and staff. More
importantly, it has been a year of
working together to serve our members without major disruptions. It
was also a year in which the miraculous technologies our members create and produce helped to save our
way of life from COVID-19. Most of
all, it was a year when our members
and Society responded with our best
in the face of adversity.
