IEEE APEC 2021 Conference and
Exposition Goes Virtual
s coronavirus pandemic continues
to pose risks, there are
global travel restrictions,
unknown regulation on large meetings,
and social distancing practices in
place. Taking these factors into consideration,
including the safety and
well-being of the conference participants,
organizers of the IEEE Applied
Power Electronics Conference and
Exposition (APEC) have decided to
hold APEC 2021 virtually rather than
in-person event as planned earlier.
Consequently, APEC will be presented
online from 14-17 June, 2021, on the
virtual event platform Social27, with
on demand access starting the week
of June 7. On-demand recordings in -
clude technical session lectures and
dialogues (poster sessions), industry
sessions, and professional education
seminars. In summary, APEC 2021
will be presented in a fully virtual
format with a mixture of live, ondemand,
and recorded educational
content, a virtual exposition, and plenty
of opportunities to network.
For the second time, this preA
mier
event in applied power electronics
will bring together thousands of
professionals from around the world
for online networking, learning and
strategic business development. The
technical program looks exceptional.
It includes seven distinguished
plenary speakers, technical sessions
presenting peer-reviewed papers for
the practicing power electronics professionals,
industry sessions offering
current topics in power electronics
from industry sources, three RAP
sessions, and 16 professional education
seminars.
