Since the agrifood domain is receiving
more and more interest in the
robotics and automation domain, quite
regularly, a workshop on agricultural
robotics is organized by TC members
during major conferences, including
the IEEE International Conference on
Robotics and Automation (ICRA) and
IEEE/RSJ International Conference on
Intelligent Robots and Systems. Most
recent was the workshop on agricultural
robotics and automation held
during ICRA 2022, in Philadelphia,
PA, USA. The TC also endorses workshops
during these conferences on topics
that are closely related to the
agrifood application domain. Finally,
underpinning the multidisciplinary
nature of the agricultural robotics and
automation domain, TC members
contribute to conferences and meetings
organized by fellow organizations,
such as the American Society of Agricultural
and Biological Engineers, the
European Society of Agricultural Engineers,
the International Society of Horticultural
Sciences, the International
Plant Phenotyping Network, and the
International Federation of Automatic
Control, with the Sensing, Control,
and Automation Technologies for
Agriculture conferences.
