Jeannine Abiva (jeannine.abiva1@navy.mil) earned her
B.S. degree in applied mathematics from Loyola Marymount
University, Los Angeles, California, and her M.S. degree in
mathematics and Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from
The University of Iowa, Iowa City. She is a scientist at the
Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division. Her
research interests include image registration, machine
learning, computational geometry, parallel programming,
and computational neuroscience.
Rodney G. Roberts (rroberts@eng.fsu.edu) earned his
B.S. degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics from
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Indiana,
and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering
from Purdue University, West Layfayette, Indiana. He is a
professor of electrical and computer engineering at Florida
State University, Tallahassee. He was secretary (2012-2016)
and vice president for systems science and engineering
(2015-2018) for the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics
Society. He is an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on
Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems. He is a Senior
