Jason Gu (jason.gu@dal.ca) earned his Ph.D. degree in
electrical and computer engineering from the University of
Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in 2001. He is a full
professor of electrical and computer engineering at Dalhousie
University and a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of
Canada, Halifax, NS B3J 2X1 Canada. He is also a crossappointed
professor with the School of Biomedical Engineering
for his multidisciplinary research work. His
research interests include robotics, biomedical engineering,
rehabilitation engineering, neural networks, and control. He
is a Senior Member of IEEE.
Wei Song (weisong@zhejianglab.com) earned his
Ph.D. degree in mechatronics engineering from the State
Key Laboratory of Fluid Power and Mechatronic Systems,
Zhejiang University, in 2013. He is an associate professor
at Zhejiang University and principal investigator at Zhejiang
Lab, Zhejiang Province, 311121 Hangzhou, P.R. China.
His research interests include mechanical systems design,
control systems, navigation systems, and artificial intelligence
implemented on mobile robots.
Hong Wu (hwu@uestc.edu.cn) earned his Ph.D. degree
in pattern recognition and machine intelligence from the
National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition at the Institute
of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2004. From
May 2004 to May 2006, he was an associate researcher of
Nippon Electric Company Laboratory China. Since May
2006, he has been an associate professor with the School of
Computer Science and Engineering, University of Electronic
Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, 611731
Sichuan, P.R. China. His research interests include computer
vision and machine learning.
Shiqiang Zhu (sqzhu@zju.edu.cn) earned his B.Eng.
degree in mechanical engineering from Zhejiang University
in 1988, his M.Eng. degree in mechatronics engineering
from the Beijing Institute of Technology in 1991, and his
Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Zhejiang University
in 1995. He has been a faculty member with Zhejiang
University since 1995 and became a professor in 2001.
He is currently with Ocean College, Zhejiang University,
and the director of Zhejiang Lab, Zhejiang Province, 311121
Hangzhou, P.R. China. His research interests include robotics
and mechatronics. He is a Member of IEEE.
Zheyuan Lin (linzhy@zhejianglab.com) earned his
B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong
University in 2019 and his M.Sc. degree in mechanical
engineering from Columbia University in 2021. He is currently
an engineer at Zhejiang Lab, Zhejiang Province,
311121 Hangzhou, P.R. China. His research interests include
computer vision and human-robot interaction.
Min Huang (huangmin@zhejianglab.com) earned her
B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering in 2011 and her
M.Sc. degree in signal and information processing in
2014 from the University of Electronic Science and Technology.
She is currently an engineer at Zhejiang Lab,
Zhejiang Province, 311121 Hangzhou, P.R. China. Her re -
search interests include computer vision and multimodality
fusion.
Wen Wang (wendi@zhejianglab.com) earned her Ph.D.
degree in signal and information processing from the University
of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2021.
She is currently an assistant researcher at Zhejiang Lab, Zhejiang
Province, 311121 Hangzhou, P.R. China. Her research
interests include computer vision, human action recognition,
and video analysis.
Rajesh Kumar (rajakumarlohano@gmail.com) earned
his Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from
the University of Electronic Science and Technology of
China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2019. He is an associate
professor with the Yangtze Delta Region Institute (Huzhou),
UESTC, 313001 Huzhou, China. His research interests
include machine learning, deep leaning, malware detection,
the Internet of Things, and blockchain technology.
