In 2016, Jan Van der Spiegel, president of the IEEE Solid-State Circuits
S o c i e t y (SSCS), com m issioned a
n e w committee, Women in Circuits
(WiC), to improve the recruitment,
retention, and advancement of fe male members within the Society.
To increase the visibility of women in
volunteer leadership positions in the
SSCS, this issue offers a series of tutorials, written by women in our Society, covering several emerging trends
in our industry.
The following SSCS members were
