and limits usage in water. Figure 12
shows the block diagram of the fully
implantable CI SoC, which provides an
internalized or highly desirable invisible solution. The middle-ear mounted
piezoelectric sensor provides implantable acoustic sensing. A reconfigurable
digital sound processor enables system
power scalability. An arbitrary waveform neural stimulator provides 20-30%

stimulation power savings. Frequency
response of the mounted sensor and
SoC charge amplifier for input sound
levels from 40 to 90 dB SPL.
