Paving the Path to Power Efficiency,"
in which experts in the field will
present their opinions and insights
into new computer architectures
beyond Von Neumann, which will
emerge to support future computing
performance improvements beyond
Moore's law and Dennard scaling.
ISSCC will also continue the
popular tradition of evening panels, where experts, often of opposing views, discuss topics that can
range from lighthearted to controversial (but always informative and
entertaining). This year's panels are
"Class of 2025-Where Will Be the
Best Jobs?," "Do We Need to Downscale Our Radios Below 20 nm?,"
"Survey Says!," an interactive panel
modeled after the U.S. game show
Family Feud, and "Eureka! The Best
Moments of Solid-State Circuit Design in the 2000s."
The conference will provide a variety of opportunities for attendees
to interact one on one with authors
during the author interviews at the
end of the day of their presentation,
as well as during breakout sessions
and evening social hours. During the
