The Electrical and Computer
Engineering Department of
Baylor University
seeks faculty applicants for two Tenure-Track
Assistant/Associate Professor Positions in all
areas of electrical and computer engineering,
with preference in the areas: embedded
systems, computer/network security, software
engineering, sensor networks, power, and
energy. Applicants seeking a more senior
position must demonstrate a record of

The ECE department offers B.S., M.S., M.E.
and Ph.D. degrees and is poised for rapid
expansion of its faculty and facilities, including

Professor / Assistant Professor of
Complex Systems Control
The Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering (www.ee.ethz.ch)
at ETH Zurich invites applications for a tenured professorship or tenure-track assistant
professorship in Complex Systems Control.
The successful candidate is expected to develop a strong and visible research programme
in the area of systems and automatic control. The candidate should be able to bridge solid
theoretical foundations, development of computational methods and applications to
areas such as energy systems, transportation systems and biomedical systems. Candidates
should hold a PhD degree and have an excellent record of accomplishments in Electrical
Engineering or related fields with a specialisation in systems and control. In addition,
commitment to teaching undergraduate level courses (German or English) and graduate
level courses (English) and the ability to lead a research group are expected.

Electrical and
Computer Engineering
at the University of Utah

seeks applications to fill one or more tenure-track positions at all levels. Exceptional candidates in all areas
of ECE, including interdisciplinary areas, are invited to apply. We have particular interest in candidates
working in research areas that require expertise in power/energy, RF/microwaves/electromagnetics,
or communications/signal processing. Faculty responsibilities include developing and maintaining an
internationally recognized research program, effective classroom teaching at the undergraduate and graduate
levels, and professional service.
Fueled in part by strong support from the State of Utah, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
has experienced significant recent growth. Our graduate program rankings in the past five years have increased
at one of the fastest rates of any program in the nation, and we expect our rapid ascent to continue. The
department currently has 29 tenured and tenure-track faculty, ~$10M in annual research expenditures and
~90 doctoral students. Current ECE faculty have founded or co-founded 15 companies, part of the unique
entrepreneurial spirit at the University of Utah, which for two years running has spun off more startup
companies than any other school in the nation. The department attracts world-class students and faculty in
part because of Salt Lake City's outstanding quality-of-life and natural beauty. Seven world-class ski resorts are
