Faculty Positions in Robotics
and in Computer Science
Nazarbayev University is seeking highly qualified full-time faculty
members at Assistant, Associate and Full Professor ranks to join its rapidly
growing programs in Robotics and in Computer Science at the School of
Science and Technology. Successful candidates must have an earned Ph.D.
degree from a reputable research university, a demonstrated ability for
research, excellent English-language communication skills and a commitment
to graduate and undergraduate teaching.
Launched in 2010 as the premier national university of Kazakhstan,
NU's mandate is to promote the emergence of Astana as the research
and educational center of Eurasia. The strategic development of

High Frequency Engineering (Hochfrequenz Technik)
TU Wien invites applications for a Full Professor position (tenured) at the Fakultät
für Elektrotechnik & Informationstechnik www.etit.tuwien.ac.at within its five
main research areas Photonics, Micro&Nanoelectronics, Telecommunications,
Automation and Control Systems, Energy Technologies and Systems. The Institute
of Electrodynamics, Microwave and Circuit Engineering www.emce.tuwien.ac.at is
active in microwave engineering and circuit design and contributes substantially to
all of the above areas. We are looking for candidates being able to conduct excellent
research in fields related to the future challenges of high frequency engineering in
the frequency range between 1 GHz - 1 THz. The successful applicant will enhance
our excellence in research by leading a research group in one of the following areas:
*Passive and active RF-components, devices and systems
*Modelling, analysis and simulation of ultrahigh frequency electromagnetic processes
*Novel measurement techniques, metrology and circuit design concepts
*Metamaterial-based approaches
*HF-based sensors, imaging and ranging systems
