Center for Advanced Power Systems
The Ohio State University invites applications from outstanding
candidates for tenure track faculty positions and for multiple
research positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering. For the tenure-track positions, all areas and ranks
in electrical and computer engineering will be considered.
We are especially interested in the areas of (i) electronics and
VLSI and (ii) biomedical applications including cancer detection
and imaging; these positions may involve joint appointments with
other engineering departments. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree
and outstanding academic credentials. Successful candidates will be
expected to develop a vigorous externally-funded research program,
show excellence and leadership in academic and scholarly activities, and
demonstrate outstanding teaching at the undergraduate and graduate

technologies, medical sensing, remote sensing system development,

Electrical and Computer Engineering
The University of Iowa invites applicants
for two tenure-track faculty positions, one
in the area of big data analytics, and the
other in embedded systems. The position
is targeted at the Assistant Professor
level but all ranks will be considered.
A PhD in Electrical or Computer
Engineering, or a closely related field is
required. The successful candidate is
expected to develop an externally funded
internationally recognized research
program and to contribute fully as a

and execute the Center's Strategic Plan; foster and grow an environment
of teamwork and collaboration with all partners; articulate the Center's
mission and promote CAPS' programs and capabilities to government,
industry, and academia; ensure that the educational mission of FSU is
reflected in the outcomes of the Center; diversify the Center's research
and funding portfolio; direct the hiring of the Center's new research and
teaching faculty.
