Daniel Hernández Marín was a Software Developer with an NGO in 2009, creating management
tools, mainly for international cooperation projects.
From 2013 to 2016, he spent less time in technology
and mainly dedicated his efforts to carry out the El
Hueco project, a space for the promotion of social
entrepreneurship in the small city of Soria, Spain.
With this project settled and growing, he decided
to return to software industry completely and joined
an e-tourism start-up in which, in addition to work
as a Software Developer, he played a fundamental
role introducing good practices in the team: clean
code and clean architecture, patterns, refactoring,
testing, etc. In November 2019, he was with a large
consultant company, where he led the e-commerce
development team of the largest online perfumery in
Spain refactoring and rearchitecting the legacy system, which presented severe deficiencies and high
technical debt. Since 2018, he has been studying
about artificial intelligence, measurement of social
impact, and SDGs guided by the Directors, Angeles
Manjarres, and Marta Solórzano-García, of the Master of Advanced Artificial Intelligence of the National
Distance Education University, Madrid, Spain.

Marta Solórzano-García is currently an
Associate Professor of Organizational Studies
with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, National Distance Education University (UNED), Madrid, Spain, and the Director of
the Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation
Postgraduate Program. Her research focuses on
organizational theory, social entrepreneurship,
and social innovation. She has published several
books and journal articles in these fields.
Ms. García has participated in several research
projects with the Chamber of Commerce of
Madrid, Madrid, the Ministry of Employment and
Immigration, the Department of Finance and Public
Administration, and several European projects.
