he received an Outstanding Achievement Award in
philosophy and Social Sciences from the Government of Jiangsu province, China. He has also been
the recipient of a Best paper Award from the Chinese
Academy of System Simulation. Since 2011, he has
been elected into the National Ministry of Education's
"New Century Excellent Talents Scheme," and a number of other recognized talent plans in the same province. He is an expert member in the Cloud Computing
professional Committee of Jiangsu province.
Dr. Chen is the chair of several international academic associations, such as IEEE Consumer Electronics (Nanjing Chapter), and the chair of several
Technical Committees, chair of organizing committees for refereed conferences, and an editorial member of a number of international journals. He has
multi-disciplinary skills in information technology,
computer science, business, and management. His
research focuses on management, system simulation,
business intelligence services, the supply chain, and
information systems security.
Katherine Albrecht Ed.D. is an internationally recognized privacy expert with a Doctorate
in Human Development and psychology from the
Harvard University Graduate School of Education,
with emphasis in Consumer Education. Katherine
also received the Ed.M. degree in Education from
Harvard in Technology, Innovation, and Education,
and she holds an undergraduate degree in Business
Administration and International Marketing from

the University of Southern California, from which
she graduated with magna cum laude honors. Dr.
Albrecht is the Director of CASpIAN Consumer
privacy, an 18 000-member grass-roots activist
group she founded in 1999 to oppose retail surveillance and numbering. She is also an executive with
the private search engine Startpage.com. Katherine
is co-author of the award-winning book Spychips:
How Major Corporations and Government Plan to
Track Your Every Purchase and Watch Your Every
Move, which was a top ten Amazon non-fiction
bestseller in 2006. Among her many achievements,
Katherine has authored privacy legislation and testified before the Federal Trade Commission, The Federal reserve Bank, The European Commission, and
state legislatures around the globe. The Governor of
New Hampshire appointed her to a two-year position
as the consumer privacy and policy expert on that
state's rFID Study Commission. She has given more
than 2000 interviews, among them to CNN, Good
Morning America, NPR, the BBC, Fox News, and the
Wall Street Journal. She is a regular guest on Coast
to Coast AM radio with George Noory, and was featured in the films, America: Freedom to Fascism,
Shadow Government, and Behold a Pale Horse.
Katherine is the host of a nationally syndicated talk
radio program. Her work has been published by Scientific American, Addison Wesley, Denver University Law Review, and IEEE and she has worked as
a producer and consultant on various instructional
videos and documentaries.
