The procedures follow what typically happens
in a slum clinic, and captures feedback from
physicians and community workers.
A clinic typically sees around 30 - 40
patients off-peak and 60-70 during peak season. Peak season is June to August, where
monsoon introduces water diseases, malaria etc. Most patients are children (40%) and
elderly (40%). Repeats are defined as 80% of
patients every month, with only around 20%
new patients. The clinic operates 18:30 to
20:30 hours every day except Sunday.
