Located in Leuven (Belgium), IMEC is Europe's largest independent research centre in nanotechnology and nanoelectronics, with more than 1600

IMEC's 3D research program aims to understand and exploit novel 3D technologies and to limit the 3D integration cost.
To face these challenges, we are looking for colleagues to work on our groundbreaking projects:

Program Manager 3D System-on-Chip Design
Within the Digital Design Technology group, you are responsible for
the operational management of this cross-disciplinary research program.
You define the business plan, guarantee successful result delivery and
adequate resource allocation and deployment. You have a background in
computer science or electrical engineering and a sound background in
team and project management. Knowledge of mixed-signal system-onchip design is a strong plus.

Senior Engineer Chip-package Co-design in
3D SoC team
Together with our technologists and partners, you identify forthcoming
design challenges for advanced technologies. You propose innovative
solutions by integrating state-of-the-art and home-brew EDA tools into
the reference flow. You manage our EDA team in order to deliver the
proposed design flow.

Senior Engineer Chip-package Thermomechanical Modeling in 3D SoC team

Engineer Physical Design 3D SoC
Within the 3D SoC team, you are responsible for designing and
implementing 3D chip stacks, performing sign-off verification,
setting up and programming test equipment and performing
measurements. You also interface with the EDA team and design
teams inside and outside IMEC.

Research Engineer Multiprocessor SoC
Within the context of 'design-time MPSoC development tools',
you are part of the team that focuses on research and
development of the tools needed for efficient mapping of
applications onto future MPSoC systems.

Technology Design Scientist
You are responsible for studying and understanding the impact
of technology and manufacturing constraints on design constraints
and vice versa. You proliferate that knowledge and its
consequences in the Technology Aware Design team and the
scientific community. Finally you track, implement, and even create
state-of-the-art modeling and analysis tools and concepts.

Within the 3D SoC team, you identify forthcoming thermo-mechanical
challenges of 3D chip stacks. You are also responsible for modeling
and resolving these challenges together with partner EDA companies.
Furthermore, you support design teams of IMEC and its partners
in addressing specific thermo-mechanical challenges.
