To exoplanets—and beyond The Beyond Planet Earth issue made me think about Earth as one tiny piece of the universe. The “Big Picture” article states that our sun is one of “00 to 400 billion stars in the galaxy,” and “Amateur Hour” talks about scientists looking at millions of galaxies and “billions of pictures of the cosmos.” NASA scientists are making progress in sending spacecraft to other planets, like Mercury. Maybe space travel will one day be not just to other planets in our solar system but to planets around other stars in our galaxy—or beyond. Josh Wheeler, 1, Colorado Addicted to Galaxy Zoo I learned about Galaxy Zoo [www.galaxyzoo. org] in the last issue and went online to classify some galaxies myself. Even though the site says that I was just helping to check their results, it was fun to learn the process and then to start classifying the galaxies—and some of the images are amazing. I can see why people find it addicting. I’m really looking forward to Galaxy Zoo !
