LPG-Hawkins Scholarship
to AMELIA KITTSON of KIE
SUPPLY in Kennewick,
Wash. The scholarship was
developed to encourage
the younger generations to
become part of the plumbing and lighting industries.
Kittson is pursuing her MBA
with a specialty in supply
chain management.

THE DACOR KITCHEN THEATER is the
third showroom for the brand in the last
12 months. The flagship location in Orange County's city of Irvine also serves
as an event and product training space
open to consumers and the trade. The
new showroom invites guests to interact
and experiment with the many cooking
and cooling appliances and creative tools,
which include DacorMatch. The Dacor
Kitchen Theater was designed by Callison
RTKL to emulate the surrounding Southern California geography and features an
open layout, neutral tones and natural
materials like textural wood and stone.
The showroom also oﬀers a professional
cooking demo space for programming and
product education for interior designers,
dealers, homeowners and media, which
will be used for annual classes and events.

Kitchen Firm Wins Big
KITCHEN MAGIC RECENTLY WON two

2020 Contractor of the Year (CotY) awards
from the National Association of Remodeling (NARI). This is the seventh time the
Nazareth, Pa.-based ﬁrm has been honored with the award, and the projects are
judged on customer objective, scope,
sustainability, unusual challenges and
creative solutions. The Kitchen Magic
team won for Kitchen Remodel Under
$30,000 and Kitchen Remodel $30,000$60,000 (pictured) in New Jersey. The

ROSEMARY PORTO, senior
designer for POGGENPOHL BOSTON and a New England
Hall of Fame inductee,
has retired. She plans to
become a ﬁction author and
has joked that she is trading
in her designer's pencil for
a writer's pen. Her kitchen
designs have been featured
in homes across the country,
and she has won a variety of
industry awards.

ANDREAS HANSEN has
joined PLUM as global

consumer president. He will
be responsible for leading
the consumer business
and growing distribution
worldwide. He most recently
served as president of
LIEBHERR APPLIANCES for
the Americas.

WALKER ZANGER HAS ADDED three new employees to its regional sales teams. Greg Rang has been
named North Hills, Calif., showroom manager; Anita
Crosby is the new Atlanta branch manager; and
Nova Carter is the new Houston branch manager.
Prior to joining the company, Rang spent 15 years in
entertainment and luxury brand marketing at Warner Bros. Crosby was the showroom manager for
Robert Allen, and she also ran a full-service interior
design ﬁrm called Anita Crosby Interiors. Before she
joined Walker Zanger, Carter was the store manager
for Paciﬁc Kitchen and Home and served as operations and specialty manager at The Home Depot.
