Plumbing Giant Meets Customer
Requests with New Facility

LIXIL, PARENT COMPANY TO American Standard, GROHE and DXV,
plans to open a new distribution center in California in December to
expand the company's footprint within the U.S.

lead times to deliver our products faster than ever before," said Steve

is launching a limited-edition

a custom Heritage Blue ﬁnish and commemorative star
logo until Dec. 31, 2020.

LIXIL will integrate the new facility, which is under construction now,
into its existing distribution network. As the shift to digital shopping
accelerates and people continue to seek out LIXIL products, opening
this center allows the company to meet their needs by making product
more readily available wherever people choose to shop.

COSENTINO HAS OPENED its new facility in Vacaville, Calif., just north of San Francisco.
The new hub will cover more than 157,350 square feet of warehouse and oﬃce space
and will act as a central shipping location for customers in the western U.S. The facility
will catalog products and act as a storage center, which will in turn expedite shipping
to regional centers, home improvement centers, fabricators and kitchen and bath
specialty stores.

"Cosentino's West Coast hub is located in close proximity to the port, making it an
ideal location to receive shipments from Spain and Brazil - where Cosentino products are manufactured," said Massimo Ballucchi, executive director of marketing for
Cosentino North America. "This third hub will complement our Houston and Virginia
hubs and will allow Cosentino to expedite shipments for the growing residential and
commercial needs along the entire West Coast, as well as supply the Cosentino
centers in the region."
Other Cosentino locations in California include Cosentino City Showrooms in Los
Angeles and San Francisco, as well as Cosentino Centers in Anaheim, Los Angeles,
Sacramento, San Diego and San Francisco.

Surfacing Brand Meets Green
Manufacturing Goals
NEOLITH HAS ANNOUNCED it has achieved carbon neutral status by following the internationally recognized Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHGP). The company also implemented
an innovative sustainability strategy, coupled with tactical carbon oﬀsetting. These
actions have led to carbon neutrality across the entire business, signiﬁcantly seeing the
brand receiving 100 percent of its electricity in 2019 from renewable energy sources. Furthermore, 90 percent of the waste generated by Neolith is recycled and given a second life
either with company operations or through authorized third-party players. Plant machinery
has been upgraded to improve energy eﬃciency, particularly the third line's furnace, which
has beneﬁtted from the installation of an O2 and pressure control system, signiﬁcantly
reducing the amount of gas consumed. This is complemented by a 40 percent reduction
of forklift truck diesel consumption and a 20 percent decrease in hazardous waste. A
policy to reduce the amounts of single-use plastic used has also been implemented.
