DUIS Valle Las Palmas Through the certification of DUIS the Federal Government provides incentives for the creation of New Poles of Regional Development in Mexico. To be certified as DUIS, a development must: • Have integrally planned development areas and promote a fairer, more orderly and sustainable development • Be an engine for regional development • Offer mixed projects that can be incorporated into existing urban centers Urbi: ready to take advantage of the new opportunities that the housing industry offers. During years, Urbi has articulated the creation of large-scale master planned communities to serve lowincome families, channel public and private investment, and promote the development of socially, environmentally and economically sustainable urban communities. Urbi has the resources, technologies, and systems to take advantage of the new opportunities that the housing industry has to offer and continues to be the most profitable and sustainable company in the sector. For additional information about DUIS, please visit: www.urbi.com/DUIS said Felipe Calderon, President of the United States of Mexico, at a meeting with the Valle Las Palmas development technical committee in Tijuana, B.C. “I believe in sustainable development and urban planning and have made them part of my state policy.
