From Green Frog Distillery
1oz. Straight Corn Whiskey
1oz. grenadine
.25 oz. blood orange bitters
a squeeze of fresh lemon
splash of sour mix
splash of sierra mist

 Combine Corn Whiskey ,
orange bitters & sour mix.
 Pour whiskey mixture over
chilled 12 oz. glass filled with ice.
 Slowly add
grenadine, allow
to settle, top with
splash of sierra
mist,
garnish
with
orange
slice.

TEMPLETON RYE
TEASER
From Templeton Rye Spirits
2 oz. Templeton Rye
5 oz. Cranberry juice
Cinnamon
Cardamom bitters
Orange bitters
Orange slice

4 oz. Honey Simple Syrup,
recipe follows
Lemon peel

 Garnish with
orange slice.

1.5 oz. Bourbon
5 oz. Earl Grey Tea
Lemon wedge
Cinnamon stick

HONEY SIMPLE SYRUP:

 Shake the white
rye, simple syrup
and lemon juice
over ice.

 Build ingredients in a mug.
Garnish with a lemon wedge
and a cinnamon stick.

 Strain into a
cocktail glass.
 Garnish
with the
lemon
peel.

Coconut Rum

2 oz. Bird Dog Apple Whiskey

2 parts Tequila Comisario
Reposado

1 oz. pineapple juice

Apple Wedge (freshly cut,
garnish)

From Fishbowl Spirits
1 oz. Blue Chair Bay® Key
Lime Rum Cream

22 IOWA SPIRITS

1 oz. Bärenjäger
Honey Liqueur

4 oz. Lemon juice

 Add desired
amount of ice and
stir again. 

4 oz. Y-not Vodka
4 oz. pineapple juice
4 oz. lemon-lime soda

 Top off with a twist
of fresh mint.

8 oz. ILR white rye

 Heat the honey and ½ cup
water until dissolved. Cool to
room temperature. 

From Bluff Creek Distillery

 Strain into a large glass filled
with ice. Add lemonlime soda.

From Niche Import Co.

 In an old fashioned glass,
add Templeton Rye, a dash
of cinnamon, cranberry juice
and bitters. Stir.

KEY LIME COLADA

 Add Y-not Vodka and
pineapple juice to cocktail
shaker filled with ice. Shake
vigorously.

½ cup honey

1 oz. orange juice

Cranberry Juice (to taste)

 When life hands you limes, you
make a Key Lime Colada. Blend
all ingredients together. Pour
into a cup rimmed with coconut
flakes. Garnish
with a lime
wheel and a
cherry.

Ginger Beer to fill glass
Ice

1 oz. cream of coconut
1 cup ice

1 part Crème de Cassis

 Fill a glass with ice, add Bird
Dog Apple Whiskey, then fill with
cranberry juice. Stir and garnish
with a freshly cut apple wedge.
Add a few fresh cranberries if
available.

 A year-round cocktail that is
perfect for that Holiday Spirit.
The Spicy notes with hints of
Honey and Dates found in
Comisario Reposado pairs
wonderfully with Crème de
Cassis and Ginger Beer. Garnish
with a blackberry
or sprig of
rosemary.
